(Coppell, TX) -- October 30, 2009 -- On Saturday, October 10, 2009, Christopher L. King and TonyKingIsFunny!™ began their Laugh & Leadership National Christian Tour in Houston, TX. Despite the day getting off to an interesting start, with Chris being rushed to the hospital with health issues, the show turned out to be a huge success. "I think people were definitely surprised. I don't think they knew what to expect," said Chris.
When asked about his opinion of the show, Daniel Montgomery said, "It was awesome. Chris took inspirational speaking to another level. My wife and I thought the performances were great. They should perform in Houston again." The performance consisted of comedy, inspirational messages, music, and dance. It was a production that's sure to get bigger and better with time.
CLK Empowerment Institute Officially Adds Certified Life Coaching to its Services
September 16, 2009 - Certified Life Coaching Officially Announced
(Coppell, TX) -- September 16, 2009 -- In an effort to truly expand its service offerings, the CLK Empowerment Institute has officially announced that it will be offering certified life coaching services. "Coaching and mentoring has always been a part of some of the things that I did. However, I wanted to incorporate the experiences and expertise of another coaches and be able to broaden our reach," Christopher King said when asked about the announcement.
Also, with this announcement comes the establishment of the College Student Coaching Program (CSCP). The CSCP is designed to help colleges and universities improve their retention statistics, while developing a larger pool of student leaders. "This addition of coaching services is sure to add greater depth to what we are able to do. It simply marks the beginning of where we are about to go."

(Coppell, TX) -- June 6, 2009 -- In a partnership that has been in the making for several years, two brothers--Christopher L. King and Tony King is Funny! (T.K.I.F.) will come together during their Laugh & Leadership National Christian Tour. "Chris and I have always thought of performing together. It's just that now the timing seems to be right," says T.K.I.F., a professional radio personalit and comedian.
"Never have I seen an instant where comedy joins forces with Christian inspirational speaking. This tour is exciting for so many reasons. Not only will I get the chance to perform with my brother. But, it offers a new way for us to reach many audiences. Besides, I have always had a silly side to me," says Christopher.

Passion to Empower a Million Campaign Launched
June 1, 2009 - Passion to Empower a Million Campaign Launched
(Coppell, TX) -- June 1, 2009 -- In pursuit of the vision to empower the lives of others, the CLK Empowerment Institute (CLKEI) has officially announced its Passion to Empower a Million campaign. This campaign is a global call to action to empower at least one million individuals in the restoration of the personal, spiritual, and professional lives through a healthy and positive self image.
During this campaign, CLKEI is asking for individuals to show their support by donating $1 to this cause and by letting others know about the campaign. "This campaign is not about the dollar. It's truly about changing lives. The success of the campaign will not be measured by the number of donors or by the number of hits that our website gets. The success of this campaign is determined by the lives of others being truly transformed," Christopher King said.
Also, during the campaign, CLKEI will be promoting messages of empowerment through internet, radio, TV, and print media. The Passion to Empower a Million campaign marks the official pursuit of the vision of CLKEI being fulfilled.
