Egami History
How did the whole Egami concept come about?
Truth be told, the whole concept of Egami was born out of my own personal struggles. Several years ago, I realized that there were a few things missing in my life. No matter what I did, I was unhappy. My job, my relationships, and my material possessions were all unable to fill that emptiness that I possessed.
For months, I prayed for God to show me why I wasn't fulfilled and achieving the success that I desired. Then one night, at approximately 2:30 am, I awoke from my sleep and began reading a particular scripture--Genesis 1:26. This scripture began to describe God's creation of mankind in His "...own image." At that moment, God began to reveal to me that I wasn't able to experience the happiness and true success for my life because I had a distorted (backward) image of myself. Hence the word Egami, which is the word image spelled backwards.
Throughout that night, I pulled out my notepad and began writing. I didn't really know what I was writing at the time, but that didn't stop me. I continued to write the things that God was revealing to me. I wrote down principles, scripture references, and ways to apply them in my life. Needless to say, those things that I began to write became the foundation for what I now call The Egami Principles™.
Now, several years later, I continue to implement these principles in my life and now teaching them to others. That night was a pivotal point in my life. And after experiencing the success of these principles in my life, I became committed to sharing them with others.
